It is important to read the information provided below before your appointment. Please make sure to read this thoroughly and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me by email or phone.

COVID-19 Screening form

Please read, print off this screening and disclaimer form the day before (i.e within the 24 hours prior to) your appointment. I will also call or message you to check in with you before your appointment (see below re triage calls). If for any reason you can’t print off the form, I will have spares printed and we can fill it in at the start of the appointment (please do still read the form carefully beforehand, along with the other information below, to make sure you are happy with all elements of it).

Changes I Have Made

I have made many changes to how I work for everyone’s safety. Here I have listed just some of the things done:

  • I have spaced out appointment times so that I can clean thoroughly between clients.

  • Myself and the other therapists/osteopaths have staggered appointment times, so that there are less people in the reception/waiting areas of the clinic at one time.

  • We have removed and relocated furniture so that we can remain socially distant as much as possible.

  • We have set up hand hygiene stations with instruction posters.

  • We have cleared all surfaces for easier cleaning.

  • We have removed all linens (with the exception of one blanket per client, if necessary) from our treatment rooms and changed to wipeable covers that are cleaned between every treatment.

  • Blankets are only used where necessary, stored and transported hygienically and washed at maximum temperature.

  • I have all undertaken extra training in Hygiene Measures, the use of Personal Protective Equipment and in Infection Protection and Control.

  • At the clinic, we are all wearing PPE at all times when in contact with others.

  • We are undertaking rigorous cleaning regimes between patients.

  • We are closely monitoring our own health and the health of all who enter our practice.

And finally

Close contact increases the risk of virus transmission, and although I have undertaken the many measures listed above to try and reduce this risk there is still a small chance of infection. If you are unhappy with this possibility, then please chat to me before your appointment to discuss it further.

The full clinic policy is available at the practice or can be emailed to you, if you wish to see it.
